Still dripping blood-tinged urine from penis/prepuce. Penis slightly reddened- and prepuce moderately inflamed at orifice - no discharge noted. Palpated testes- normal- bilaterally symmetrical- non-painful. Performed rectal exam- but unable to reach prostate gland for digital palpation - palpable urethra feels normal- nonpainful on rectal exam. Palpated bladder- feels thickened - nonpainful. R/O cystitis (bacterial vs sterile)- urolithiasis- or prostate disease. Continue Clavamox and Carprofen- send out to rescue after SH is up for neuter and work-up of hematuria.

Skin /Hair coat - No obvious abnormality Musculoskeletal - No obvious abnormality Primary rule outs: benign prostatitis- urinary tract infection- trauma Plan: Clavamox 590 mg PO BID x 7 days; Rimadyl 75 mg PO BID x 5 days Continue to monitor for changes in condition. Neurologic - No obvious abnormality
