Re-weighed and took follow-up photos per Sgt. Frye's request. Skin appears much improved (particulary notable is the lack of interdigital erythema)- and body condition is improving. Very food-motivated dog! Uploaded photos to M drive.

BAR- adequately hydrated- excellent appetite. Mouth/Teeth - Moderate dental calculus. Hoarse voice - R/O laryngitis vs unsuccessful "de-barking". Ears - Dirty ears- moderate dark brown waxy exudate AU. Eyes/Nose - No abnormalities noted. Heart/Lung - Normal breath sounds- no heart murmurs or arrhythmias noted. GI - No obvious abnormalities on abdominal palpation- adult tapeworm segments found in stool. Reproductive - Both testes descended- bilaterally symmetrical- nonpainful. Skin/Hair coat - Multiple very small- superficial scars/areas of hairloss on front and rear limbs. Left front 5th digit has superficial laceration between nail bed and paw pad- possibly self-inflicted injury from scratching at kennel door. Mild erythema and saliva staining interpad and interdigitial x 4 paws. Minor pressure calluses at lateral hocks and elbows. Musculoskeletal - No abnormalities noted; thin body condition. Neurologic - No abnormalities noted. Skin scraping of areas of hairloss on lateral L shoulder and lateral L thigh = negative for mites. Fecal exam (flotation) = negative for parasites at this time. Tapeworm segments were seen on gross examination of normal- formed feces. From description at intake 2 days ago- dog has gained 5 lbs (mostly water weight- presumably) and has improved body condition.
