06/01/17 -Mouth/Teeth - missing several incisors- significant tartar premolars and molars Ears - No obvious abnormality Eyes/Nose - No obvious abnormality Heart/Lung - No obvious abnormality GI - abdomen tense and firm Reproductive - No obvious abnormality Skin /Hair coat - copious flakes of dandruff- matting of fur on front legs and ventrum malodorous- 2 cm diameter mass with draining tract at most cranial left teat. the tissue medial to mass is open to muscle layer; 0.5 cm firm mass at level of most caudal teat Musculoskeletal - No obvious abnormality Neurologic - obtunded- eyes dilated OU Pain score 3/5 Clipped and cleansed affected area around infected teat. Dx: Multiple mammary tumors- one of which has become infected and developed draining tract Tx: Administered S-R buprenorphine 0.11 mL SC and 0.3 mL Penicillin IM If condition deteriorates or pain become unmanageable- recommend humane euthanasia.

Very flinchy with restraint. Did a FeLV/FIV test and this cat is a strong FIV positive. Not placeable- no need for rest of exam.

Still eating- but seems obviously painful. Cringes and vocalizes when being handled - pain does not seem to be adequately controlled at this time - pain score 2/5. Ventral abdominal (mammary mass) wound does not appear to be healing- is still malodorous and draining. Recommend humane euthanasia.
