This cat appears very old- matted in back end and possibly all or mostly blind. Pupils are constantly dilated and cat does not seem totally visual. Cat does get jumpy when touched and can act aggressive to the surprise according to ACTs. This cat is not a good candidate for placement due to health history and sometimes being aggressive when surprised. This will make it hard to handle and treat for whatever may be going on. Not placeable.
01/27/18 - because of behavior this cat cannot be thoroughly examined; however- he has multiple signs of poor general health: matting in rear- unkempt coat- persistent pupil dilation- lethargy- transient bouts of anorexia. Because of poor prognosis and advanced age- recommend humane euthanasia.
