Checked on this cat last night before leaving. No abnormalities found other than smoky coat. It was alert and able to ambulate. This morning the lung sounds are rough (different from last night) but so far no rales- stridor- or wheezing. Cat is afraid and hunkered down in his litter box. Cat was owner-surrendered so we can euthanize if he deteriorates but at this point we will give him a chance.
