07/10/18 - Dog has bilateral hyphema and associated uveitis. Because of high energy of dog- difficult to perform thorough eye exam; Fluoroscein stain negative OU. Although trauma cannot completely be ruled out- hyphema is more likely to be result of chronic glaucoma or systemic disease (coagulopathy). If reclaimed by owner- will need further diagnostics and treatment. Interim treatment plan anxiolytic oral meds and topical eye meds. Eye meds may be administered as allowed by dog's personality. Rx: Trazodone (100 mg/tab) 1.5 tab PO BID x 5 days Neopolybac with hydrocortisone ophthalmic ointment: one strip OU BID x 5 days
