7/13/18 | null | null | null | 7/13/18 - Per #319- this cat had one kitten late yesterday evening. This morning she had a second- placenta still attached at 10:30 am so unknown how long ago. Cat is in labor right now. Unsure if this is dystocia or just a first-time queening. Can palpate at least one other fetus. Cat is growly so I did not do much else with her. About 300 cc LRS SQ @ 10:00 a.m. | null | null | null |

7/13/18 | null | null | null | Stray cat queened 2 kittens (one yesterday and one overnight)- has not eaten placenta of one kitten- and is displaying moderately abnormal neurologic behavior - appears to have decreased visual acuity- growls when handled but allows all handling- hunched posture- slow movement- unable to eat without pushing entire face into wet food (not effectively eating). Markedly dehydrated - estimated 10-12% dehydrated. At least three fetusus still palpable in abdomen- none are moving. Tense on abdominal palpation. Administered 300ml LRS SQ at 10:30 and 200 ml LRS SQ at 16:00. Kittens are still moderately active- despite queen not purposefuly allowing nursing. Recommend humane euthanasia. | null | null | null |
