12/17/18 | null | null | null | Today cat is QAR with moderate appetite per ACT. One ACT noted very malodorous diarrhea this morning- and another noted normal stool in LB this morning (?). Suspect GI effects secondary to anitbiotic administration. Rx FortiFlora SID x 3d. Cat allowed abdominal palpation today and seemed comfortable. Again was able to palpate a large- flaccid- bladder-shaped structure in mid-abdomen - not a solid mass. Suspect possibly that bladder was previously obstructed and became overly distended- leading to severe cystitis as discovered at time of impound. Underlying cause of possible obstruction unknown - R/O include crystalluria/urolithiasis- severe UTI. Body condition is still thin. | null | null | null |

12/12/18 | null | null | null | See intake exam notes re: initial PE findings. At time of DVM exam in kennel a few hours later- cat was BAR and with good appetite. Rear end appears to be soiled with urine- and found a small blood clot stuck to some litter in haircoat of R rear limb. Cat was amenable to physical exam until abdominal palpation- particularly of the caudal abdomen- when she vocalized and became resistant to examination. Did palpate what felt like an enlarged stomach before cat became recalcitrant - would like to palpate abdomen again at some point. Suspect severe urinary cystitis +/- UTI. Rx Enrofloxacin 11.4mg PO SID x 7d. Cat is too small for administration of Onsior. Administered 0.09ml Buprenorphine-SR SQ LR. | URINARY ISSUE | null | null |
